Using this website
In short
You can browse, share and link to us. Please don’t misuse the site or copy it.
- The content here is for general information. We keep it accurate, but prices and details in a signed proposal take priority.
- Don’t attempt to disrupt, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the site.
- Our name, logo, words and design belong to Bryv Technologies Ltd. You may link to us; please ask before reusing anything else.
Website projects
In short
A project starts with a written proposal. The standard build is ₦200,000, half before we start and half before go-live.
Every project is agreed in a written proposal that sets out the scope, pages, price and timeline. If the proposal and these terms differ, the proposal wins for that project.
Payment
- Our standard small-business website is ₦200,000. A deposit of ₦100,000 is paid before work starts; the balance is due before the site goes live.
- Domain name & business email (first year): ₦25,000.
- Website maintenance (optional): ₦20,000 a month.
Timeline
The usual build takes 4 weeks from the day the deposit is confirmed, provided your content, photographs and feedback arrive when agreed. Delays in providing them move the timeline accordingly.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate content and confirm you have the right to use any text, images and logos you give us.
- Review and sign off designs and the finished site within the agreed time.
Changes and cancellation
Changes beyond the agreed scope are quoted separately before we do them. If you cancel after work has started, the deposit covers work done and is not refundable.
Who owns the website
In short
Once the balance is paid, the site and its content are yours. Your domain is registered in your name.
- On full payment, you own the website we build for you, its design and your content.
- Domains and mailboxes we register on your behalf are registered in your name.
- We may keep general-purpose code and tools we use across projects, and may show your launched site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Support and maintenance
In short
30 days of technical support are included after launch. Ongoing maintenance is optional and monthly.
Each build includes 30 days of technical support after launch. After that, optional maintenance covers updates, monitoring, backups and minor content changes, month to month, and you can stop at any time with notice before the next month.
Our responsibility
In short
We work with care, but we are not liable for indirect losses. Our liability is capped at what you paid us.
We build and test carefully, but no website can be guaranteed free of every fault or always available, especially where it depends on third parties such as hosting, domain or payment providers.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits.
- Our total liability for a project is limited to the amount you paid us for it.
- Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited under Nigerian law.
Changes and governing law
In short
We may update these terms. They are governed by Nigerian law and the courts of Lagos State.
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and signed proposals keep the terms that applied when they were signed. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction. We’ll always try to resolve a problem with you directly first.
